Production Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations while optimizing production efficiency and leading a team of skilled workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily production operations in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HACCP, HARPC, FDA, USDA, and GFSI regulations
• Develop and implement production strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
• Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Train, mentor, and lead production staff to meet performance standards
• Collaborate with supply chain and quality assurance teams to ensure product quality
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
• Act as a liaison between management and production staff to ensure clear communication
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Food Science, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in production management within the food or beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, food safety regulations, and quality standards
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus
• Strong leadership and team management skills
