The Manufacturing Manager will coordinate the day-to-day manufacturing related activities for all shifts, who produce injection molded rubber and cast urethane products. This position will foster a safe, positive, results oriented work environment that is focused on quality, safety, on time delivery, continuous improvement, and LEAN Manufacturing methods. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee all employees on the production floor, including the shift supervisors, team leads, operators and maintenance.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand & delivery commitments.
• Analyze plant metrics data to drive improvements and initiatives.
• Work with Production Supervisors to deliver on the production plan, monitoring planned versus actual.
• Work with the Maintenance Manager in directing the maintenance team activities and work priorities.
• Work with the Maintenance Manager with the administration and utilization of Maintenance Coordinator.
• Work with Supply Chain to manage inventory to ensure enough stock on hand to fulfill orders timely.
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate scheduling, forecasting & purchasing of materials.
• Responsible for monitoring Guidewheel uptime/downtime & implementing improvements.
• Manage the work orders, ensuring accuracy and taking action on any variance to standard.
• Use of Enbi Business Intelligence Software to manage and review all work orders, resolving variances in labor and or materials.
• Support and promote Quality Management & new Production Planning processes.
• Work closely with other departments to promote and maintain a clean & safe work environment.
• Work with Human Resources on staffing, employee recognition and accountability
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education/ Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, technical field is a plus
• 5-7 years of Production Management Experience
