Mercor is seeking experienced Production Supervisors to contribute to AI research projects focused on real-world manufacturing and operations.

As an independent contractor, you’ll use your hands-on supervisory experience to help train AI systems by creating realistic production scenarios, team coordination prompts, and plant floor workflows.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience supervising production, assembly, or operations teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proven ability to assign tasks, manage production schedules, enforce safety protocols, and meet output goals
• Familiarity with production logs, quality control processes, and lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
• Experience coordinating with maintenance, logistics, or quality assurance departments
• Strong skills in resolving personnel issues, conducting team briefings, and maintaining compliance with safety and efficiency standards

What You’ll Do:

• Create realistic prompts based on daily responsibilities such as shift handovers, responding to line stoppages, or managing employee performance
• Help AI researchers understand industry-specific terminology, task flow, documentation, and decision-making processes
• Review and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy and alignment with actual manufacturing practices
