POSITION SUMMARY:
The National Account Manager, Production Printing Systems (PPS) is responsible for identifying and developing high-volume production print accounts in the US. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through direct sales, relationship building, and strategic partnerships. The National Account Manager will be accountable to achieve an annual inkjet unit target and will balance virtual and in-person sales activities. This position will require travel throughout the assigned territory. That territory will include multiple states.
Key Metrics for Success:
·Achieve annual sales goals and unit targets for high-volume production inkjet systems.
·Build a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and partnerships.
·Maintain organized sales reporting and accurate CRM management.
oLead full-cycle sales of production inkjet printers to large production accounts.
oConduct virtual and in-person product overviews tailored to client workflows and business needs.
oDevelop and maintain a healthy sales funnel, ensuring visibility into key opportunities and wins.
oRegularly update sales forecasts, ensuring accuracy in sales reports.
3.Strategic Sales Activities:
oConduct clients need assessments and workflow evaluations to demonstrate RISO’s product advantages.
oCollaborate with the National Sales Manager to deliver customized solutions and close deals.
4. Industry Leadership:
oAttend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent RISO and foster relationships with key players.
oStay organized by updating all relevant client activities and documentation.
oPrepare quotes, proposals and statements of work in tandem with sales engineering.
EXPECTATIONS FOR TIME ALLOCATION:
·Virtual Sales Activities (20%): First calls, presentations, webinars, and product overviews.
·Field Sales Activities (50%): On-site visits for client assessments, application reviews, and closing meetings.
·Industry Events (10%): Attend trade shows and relevant conferences.
·Internal Collaboration (5%): Participate in training, team meetings, and planning sessions.
·Administrative Tasks (15%): Prepare sales reports and collaborate on marketing plans.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Experience: 5-10 years of direct sales experience within the production print industry or related field.
2.Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of print-to-mail workflows and experience engaging with Production Managers, Operations Managers, CTOs, and stakeholders.
3.Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship building.
4.Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients, prioritize activities, and maintain thorough sales records.
5.Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·Proven success in achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets.
·Knowledge of print technology including digital front ends along with composition, dashboard and optimization software.
·Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar platform.
