Job summary

LANXESS is a leading specialty chemicals company with operations worldwide, seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead day-to-day production in Little Rock, AR. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule targets while coordinating across Maintenance, QC, Logistics and other support functions.

You will supervise about 20 hourly employees and develop your team through training, coaching and performance management, while maintaining accurate records and complying with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to coach and hold team accountable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety practices.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office; maintain production and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality, production, compliance, and schedule targets.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and use production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate resources and priority setting; act as liaison between Production, Maintenance, QC, Logistics, and support functions.
• Supervise and develop shift supervisors and ~20 hourly employees through training and performance management.
• Support operations with production/quality tracking, maintenance coordination, audits, and process changes.
