Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Little Rock is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met. You will monitor processes, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

You will supervise approximately 20 hourly employees, coach performance, and reinforce policies while coordinating with Maintenance, QC, and Logistics to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years manufacturing/production experience with supervisory/leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to coach and hold team accountable.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office; maintain production and quality records.

Experience / Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or additional technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment as well as supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach employees, address performance issues, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand production processes, analyze data, and identify process trends and improvement opportunities.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety practices.
• Proficiency with computer-based production systems, Microsoft Office, and SAP; ability to maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records.
• Willing and able to work hands-on in a production environment, including operating machinery such as forklifts and boilers, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks requiring fine motor skills as needed.
