Overview

Our client is seeking a 1st shift production manager! This leader would supervise low-high production operations in a fast-paced, non-union manufacturing environment. The production manager would be responsible for the direct supervision of hourly associates in multiple manufacturing departments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting performance reviews, discussing attendance and recommending wage adjustments
• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees
• Utilizes operational metrics to maintain close surveillance over the manufacturing operations to assure scheduled work flow, manpower skills, machines, tooling methods and machine repairs
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, policies and labor contract provisions
• Make recommendations to improve procedures
• Communicates daily with appropriate managers and reports to the general manager

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory/management experience
• 3-5 years experience working in electrical assembly, preferred
• ERP Experience, Epicor/Kinetic preferred
