Image Associates Inc. is a Knoxville, TN based automotive parts maker seeking a Production Manager to lead its die casting operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

You will drive continuous improvement per the Toyota Production System, set goals for scrap reduction, and work with maintenance to maximize machine uptime. Travel 10–20% may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related major.
• Extensive die casting experience, especially automotive parts.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.
• Proven in driving quality, cost, delivery times, and safety improvements.
• Metrics-driven approach to production trends.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% by plane/car.
• Experience with 5S and TPS.

Production Manager – Die CastingAutomotive parts maker needs a Production Manager to run its Die Casting manufacturing department. This position requires a very strong background in die casting processes. Your primary goals will be to improve safety, delivery, cost, and quality.With safety first in mind, you will lead continuous improvement, following the principles of the Toyota Production System.Work with Quality to set goals including scrap reduction, reduction in customer complaints, and reporting of non-conformances.Evaluate and improve manpower layout, 5-S standardization, and organization layout.Work with maintenance to improve machine uptime.Provide data driven analyses of manufacturing problems.This position will require travel by plane and car 10-20%.REQUIREMENTSBachelors’ degree in Engineering, Business, or related majorMust have deep experience of the die casting process, especially of automotive partsMust have at least three years of supervisory experience.Demonstrated experience in driving quality, cost, delivery times, and safety improvements.Must be committed to the use of metrics to understand production trends and weak points.You should be proficient in:Production OptimizationAS9100 ExperienceDie CastingIATF 16949Toyota Production SystemTPSTrend Analysis5SMachines & technologies you'll use:Die Casting machines
