Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in the die cast industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production objectives for personnel, material, capacity and scrap rate.
• Direct and coordinate foundry operations in line with company policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Meet production goals and staffing requirements.
• Optimize quality control within the foundry.
• Implement OEE concepts within the foundry.
• Maintain and drive 5S program in the department.
• Ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Oversee casting quality control and continuous improvement.
• Schedule and conduct plant meetings.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Select and train supervisory staff.
• Launch new customer projects.
• Provide customer technical support.
