Production Manager, Nefab Plastic Solutions in Irving

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily production operations and ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are met. You will contribute to Nefab by driving efficient, reliable, and high-quality packaging production.

You will be part of Nefab's production organization, playing a key role in ensuring efficient and reliable operations. In the production organization, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in quality, supply chain, sales, and other functions, as well as with teams across different sites and geographies, to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

This position is located in Irving, and you will report to Jennifer Davis

Job Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Thermoforming production operation at Nefab.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITES
  • Lead day-to-day production operations across all shifts to meet customer demand, delivery commitments, and production schedules.
  • Manage and develop production personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
  • Drive a positive, results-oriented culture focused on quality, safety, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.
  • Monitor production, quality, and plant performance metrics; analyze data and implement actions to improve results.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Site Manager, Quality, and other functions on materials, maintenance, packaging, waste, and quality issues.
  • Bring strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in thermoforming, quality systems, and production management tools.
Minimum Experience And Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in thermoforming operations and processing.
  • Proven people management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to work across all levels of the organization and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
LANGUAGES
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
