Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own daily production planning and scheduling across SMT, through-hole, and final assembly to meet delivery commitments.
• Manage and develop production supervisors, operators, and technicians, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Drive line balancing, capacity planning, and labor allocation across concurrent work orders.
• Monitor daily production metrics and take corrective action when targets are missed.
• Coordinate with quality and test engineering to resolve production issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D and ITAR/export-control requirements.
• Lead root-cause investigations for production and quality escalations.
• Manage production documentation, traveler accuracy, and records.
• Coordinate with procurement on material availability and shortages.
• Support NPI transitions from engineering to production.

Production Manager — Printed Circuits Corp (PCC)

Printed Circuits Corp is a contract electronics manufacturer (EMS/PCBA) supporting aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical customers. We're AS9100D certified and operate under ITAR/export-control requirements, and we're actively growing our presence in the industrial and medical sectors.

We're looking for a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations on our PCBA production floor — driving throughput, quality, and on-time delivery across SMT, assembly, and test.

What you'll do:

• Own daily production planning and scheduling across SMT, through-hole, and final assembly to meet customer delivery commitments
• Manage and develop production supervisors, operators, and technicians, including staffing, training, and performance management
• Drive line balancing, capacity planning, and labor allocation across concurrent work orders
• Monitor daily production metrics (throughput, yield, WIP, on-time delivery) and drive corrective action when targets are missed
• Partner with quality and test engineering to resolve production issues, including material shortages, BOM/engineering changes, and failed-unit disposition
• Ensure production activities comply with AS9100D quality procedures and ITAR/export-control requirements
• Lead root-cause investigations for production and quality escalations, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Manage production documentation, including work instructions, traveler/router accuracy, and production records
• Coordinate with procurement and planning on material availability, shortages, and component alternates
• Support new product introduction (NPI) transitions from engineering to full production
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, process efficiency) on the production floor

What you bring:

• 5+ years of production/manufacturing management experience, ideally in PCBA/EMS or a related electronics manufacturing environment
• Proven experience managing production staff and driving performance across a manufacturing team
• Strong working knowledge of SMT/PCBA production processes and manufacturing metrics
• Experience operating within a regulated quality system (AS9100D, ISO 9001, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working cross-functionally with quality, engineering, and planning
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and tracking

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. Person) due to ITAR/export-control obligations
• Able to work on-site in Lilburn, GA
