Job summary

Acloché is currently hiring CNC Machine Operators for a leading automotive supplier in Sunbury, Ohio. The role focuses on operating CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines to produce precision components per drawings and specifications.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, monitor production, perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers, and document data while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous CNC machine operation experience.
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machining processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable work history and strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Load raw materials and components into machines and properly secure fixtures and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and production runs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Make minor machine adjustments and tool offsets as needed during production.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, excessive tool wear, and quality concerns.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Accurately document production counts, inspections, and related manufacturing data.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Position Summary

Schedule

1st Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

2nd Shift

Monday-Friday 3:25 PM - 11:55 PM

Overtime available as needed.

Pay Rate

$19.00 - $21.70 per hour

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and shift assignment.
