Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in CNC machining or equivalent role.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and Tool & Die equipment to produce machined parts per blueprints and templates.
• Plan operation sequences using knowledge of materials and processes.
• Perform duties to assist setup and operation of multiple CNC equipment.
• Work from drawings, schedules and written/verbal instructions; ensure first-pass quality.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools and document results; maintain safe work area.

Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing company that produces electrical connection and protection products.. They are currently hiring CNC Machinists at their facility in Solon, OH. This is a Full-Time Permanent position with our client.As a CNC Machinistyou will be responsible forsetting up,operating, andmaintainingCNC machines. Producing machined parts according to blueprint specifications. Adhere to all safe work procedures and to create parts up to thehighest ofquality standards.Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Prior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Sets up andoperatesCNC and Tool & Die equipment to produce quality machined parts as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates.
• Plans sequence of operations applying knowledge of materials.
• Perform dutiesrequiredtoassistsetup andoperatemultiple CNC / Tool & Die equipment simultaneously for a variety of machined products.
• Work from drawings, route sheets, schedules, written, and verbal instructions.
• Check material forcorrectsize and type.
• Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Move materials in the performance of duties.
• Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs.
• Report faulty equipment, defectivematerialand unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Complete required quality checks/documents and production documentation.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations andmaintainworkarea in a neat and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.
