Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of production plant experience.
• Ability to read English and follow directions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on feet all day in dusty/hot/cold conditions.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients.
• Solve daily operations problems with limited supervision.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned area.
• Complete daily job checklists and equipment checks/calibrations.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, samples and equipment operations.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Perform safety audits on equipment.
• Set up machines at the beginning of shift for proper working order.
• Calibrate machines at the beginning of each shift and recalibrate at end.
• Monitor machines during procedures and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure regular maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Maintain activity logs and downtime sheets.
