Scotts Miracle-Gro is hiring a Machine Operator in Vance, AL. You will operate computer controlled production systems for raw materials and premixes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality through daily checks and calibration.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of production plant experience, with the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in dusty environments, and be available for overtime including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1+ years of production plant experience preferred.
• Able to identify all materials used, read and follow directions in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in dusty/hot/cold environments, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients.
• Solve daily operations problems with limited supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping and complete daily checks on equipment.
• Record materials, samples and equipment operations accurately.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
