Scotts Miracle-Gro is hiring a Machine Operator in Vance, AL to operate a computer controlled production system and prepare materials for production. You will set up machines, monitor processes, and maintain quality records all shift long.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, enduring dusty environments and working overtime as needed. Weekly pay and benefits apply after start date.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Production plant experience preferred.
• Ability to read English and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients.
• Complete daily job checklists & equipment checks/calibrations.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, samples & equipment operations.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
