Qualifications

  • Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math operations.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.
  • Dexterity, organization, time management and problem solving are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Wears PPE per company policy (steel-toe shoes and earplugs).
  • Operates production equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Produces assigned products according to verbal and written instructions.
  • Completes equipment set-up according to machine and style specifications.
  • Inspects product on cycle and documents findings as needed.
  • Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe; returns tools to designated areas.
  • Follows safety, quality and production policies and procedures.
  • Notifies management of discrepancies, equipment malfunctions or injuries.

About this position

Summary: Operates machinery in a safe and efficient manner by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Wears PPE in accordance with company policy (Steel Toe Shoes & Earplugs).
  • Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with safety, quality, & projected company goals as related to company expectations.
  • Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
  • Completes equipment set-up in accordance with machine & style specifications.
  • Inspects product on cycle and documents findings as needed.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
  • Adheres to all established policies and procedures of safety, quality and production.
  • Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
Salary Information

$22 - $24Hourly Wage

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Minimum - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Able to use common fractions and decimals. Should be able to properly read and interpret a tape measure.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
