Aerotek is hiring a General Production Worker / Machine Operator in Washington, MO. This contract-to-hire position offers training and opportunities to advance within a growing manufacturing team producing steel components for commercial construction.

Open to workers with manufacturing or labor experience; no prior machine operating experience required. The role operates on 2nd shift with first-week training on 1st shift, and includes overtime on Saturdays when needed.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.
• Comfortable with physical work and learning machinery.
• Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Operate saws, presses, and other production equipment
• Cut, process, and prepare steel materials
• Assist with assembly, material handling, and packaging
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM
• 1-2 weeks of training on 1st shift
• Occasional OT on Saturdays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
