Job summary

Pratt Industries – Houston is seeking a Machine Helper to support the safe operation, setup, cleaning, and troubleshooting of production machinery. You will help meet customer demand while upholding high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting operators, and contributing to production schedules. This role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Flexo or Die-Cut Helper.
• 6 months experience in Press and Finishing Departments.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• May require a current Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, maintain a clean, hazard-free work area, and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery as needed.
• Train and assist fellow team members and machine operators.
• Meet production schedules and resolve challenges proactively.
• Document production data and report equipment issues in a timely manner.
