Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Language: Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Math: Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy; calculate percentages, measurements, volume and rate.
• Reasoning: Apply common sense and follow written instructions.
• Technical: Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities for efficient operation and production specs.

Responsibilities

• Setup folding rails, counter ejector, bundler, pre-feeder, load former, print, and die cut sections per proper setup techniques.
• Inspect annilox rolls for damage and inspect dies/plates before and after runs to ensure repairs are made before the next run.
• Monitor box quality including loose liner, warp, size, glue alignment, gaps, and print.
• Maximize equipment utilization by running at capacity and speed; train and assist helpers with duties.
• Cross-train on other machines; switch duties with helpers to promote training and promotable opportunities.
• Submit maintenance work orders; be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to production schedule and optimize scheduling to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
• Comply with all company policies including safety and housekeeping; additional duties may be assigned.
