Job summary

The role includes training colleagues, cross-training on additional machines, and ensuring timely production reports. The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, with preference for packaging industry background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months’ experience in manufacturing operation preferred.
• Prior packaging industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Machine Operator and Helpers with setup, operation, and cleanup of production machines.
• Monitor quality and ensure production data accuracy.
• Train and assist First and Second Helpers with job duties on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports such as Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data in a timely and accurate manner.
• Submit maintenance work orders and proactively maintain equipment.
• Adhere to production schedules and propose improvements to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
• Abide by all company policies, safety rules, and housekeeping standards.
