Job summary

Pratt Industries – Cedar Hill is seeking a Machine Helper to support production machinery, with focus on safety, setup, operation, and maintenance. You will work on a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00AM to 2:00PM, starting pay $19.00–$20.00 per hour, and contribute to meeting customer demand while upholding quality standards.

You will participate in training, operate forklifts, and assist operators and finishers, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a large, environmentally conscious

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; corrugating industry preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper preferred.
• 6 months experience in Press and Finishing departments preferred.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Set up slotting, feed, and die-cut sections on machines accurately.
• Assist machine operators and monitor machine performance; report malfunctions.
• Document production data and communicate progress to supervisors.
• Participate in training and cross-train on different machines and processes.
• Support team to meet production goals and continue improvements.
