Job summary

Pratt Industries in Tulsa is seeking a Machine Helper – 1st Shift to support production by setting up and operating machinery, performing cleanup, and troubleshooting to meet safety, quality, and customer demand.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to equipment efficiency, and participate in training and teamwork while following OSHA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, corrugating industry experience preferred.
• 6 months experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper preferred, plus 6 months in Press and Finishing preferred.
• Follow instructions for machine adjustments and basic maintenance.
• Load/unload materials safely; operate forklifts (training provided).
• Conduct visual inspections and measurements; maintain accuracy.
• Observe and track machine performance for efficiency.
• Identify minor equipment issues and communicate with maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Quality assurance and reporting quality concerns.
• Set up slotting, feed, and die-cut sections; assist operators.
• Train and assist fellow team members; cross-train on machines.
• Document production data; communicate progress and challenges.
• Maintain flexibility and teamwork; support production goals.
