Job summary

Dearing Compressor & Pump Co in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Production Logistics Coordinator to oversee inbound material movement to production and outbound shipments to customers. You will supervise truck drivers and packers, coordinating with sales, supply chain and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree plus two to five years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and procedures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Align logistics plans with production timelines to support on-time delivery.
• Maintain and communicate daily schedules for freight handlers and packers.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loading/off-loading conflicts.
• Expedite and plan shipment of major components with vendors.
• Manage traffic, routing and placement of inbound loads.
• Provide outbound freight quotes to customers.
• Oversee outbound shipment process with customers and sales reps including bills of lading and permits.
• Maintain documentation and status updates for all shipments.
