Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas in Ohio is seeking an administrative Logistics Coordinator to support outbound shipments, prepare bills of lading, and schedule pickups for production and materials.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience in a manufacturing setting; you will coordinate daily shipments, generate pickup sheets, and liaise with customers and carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Two (2) years' experience in logistics in a manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Good cooperation and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.
• Ability to manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events through organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to interact well with all personality types.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all shipments and requests.
• Prepare daily pickup sheets, review DNPR for daily shipments, generate and check bills of lading for all shipments.
• Follow up on shipments and notify appropriate Associates of any late or missed deliveries.
• Coordinate daily pickups for fleet and common carriers.
• Communicate daily with customers regarding shipment status and pickups.
• Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.
