Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, TN is hiring for a production worker. Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour and requires standing 8–12 hours daily, operating cranes, and handling materials with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include reading production orders, meeting productivity and quality targets, and effective communication with team and supervision. Overtime and weekend availability may be required; full-time benefits start day 1.

Qualifications

• Understanding and competence in safe and efficient operation
• Includes all line equipment, processes and procedures
• Detail and quality oriented
• Verifiable dependability and energetic approach
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word)
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Forklift and Crane are a plus – must be trainable
• Flexible with overtime and weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Support Core Values, participate in Safe Work environment, and complete observations
• Read and understand a production order
• Meet productivity requirements
• Meet quality requirements for company and customers
• Operate crane and handle materials, document produced items
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisor, and management
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours daily
• Climb on/off equipment and ladders repeatedly
• Work in varying outdoor conditions (hot, cold, rain, shine)
