Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, TN is seeking a production associate for the evening shift. The role involves operating with cranes, handling materials, and ensuring safety and quality on the line. Overtime and weekends are expected, with a starting wage of $18.25 per hour plus a quarterly gainsharing bonus.

You will inspect equipment, read production orders, maintain records, and work in varying outdoor conditions while supporting a strong safety culture and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Safe and efficient operation of line equipment and processes.
• Detail and quality oriented.
• Dependable and energetic.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word).
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
• Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Forklift and crane experience a plus; training may be provided.
• Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support core values and participate in a safe work environment.
• Inspect equipment for safety.
• Read and understand a production order.
• Meet productivity requirements.
• Meet quality requirements for company and customers.
• Operate crane and perform manual material handling with proper documentation.
• Maintain communication with team, supervisor, and management.
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III.
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours daily.
• Climb on/off equipment and ladders.
• Work under varying outside conditions (hot, cold, rain, shine).
