Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years or older is required
• Experience on high speed production lines preferred
• Experience with pallets and forklift operation beneficial
• Experience reading blueprints and operating production equipment recommended
• Experience with basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance preferred
• Experience with sanitation and GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES in a food plant desirable
• Ability to lift 20–45 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
• Ensure package and product quality
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean equipment and work area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through housekeeping practices
• Expedite repairs to line with maintenance
• Keep daily downtime and machine operation records
• Collaborate with team in a supportive, reliable manner
• Maintain regular attendance
