Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a production line associate to set up and maintain line equipment, monitor processes, and assist line personnel to ensure GMP, safety, and product quality. You will support daily production with attention to safety, documentation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, performing quality checks, and coordinating with the Production Planner to meet production targets. A forklift certification and a high school diploma are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and/or production environment.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Consistent job history with 6 months to 1 year in related roles.
• Preferred 1–3 years of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork; verify ingredients/supplies/packaging and prepare for operations.
• Work with Production Planner to select appropriate raw materials for daily production needs.
• Put on all required personal protective equipment and safety gear.
• Set up/assemble line equipment per work order, perform metal detector checks and start up the line.
• Monitor the process, perform quality checks, update label rolls, check packaging and finished cases.
• Troubleshoot problems, perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• Facilitate production; maintain the scale area and assist with line supplies.
• End of shift: secure equipment, perform housekeeping, complete paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with policies and standards.
