Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Wayland, MI is seeking a Douglas Operator for the 1st shift to operate the Retail Line #2 case wrapper, priority one depalletizer, and Columbia palletizer. You will assist with line changes, support the Production team, and drive initiatives to improve plant performance.

The role requires a valid sit-down forklift license, adherence to GMP/SOP/HACCP, and a readiness to work overtime and weekends on Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm with a base hourly wage of 24.42.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operator must have the mechanical ability to perform necessary machine adjustments to obtain "Standards" in production.
• Operator must have understanding of the quality requirement for the product with the ability to maintain accurate production records.
• Must have a valid lift truck license. This person will be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and assist with size changeovers.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area. Floors are to be kept clear of debris & trash must be placed in designated containers.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP'S, SOP's, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, foods safety programs and all other policies established by Bay Valley Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
