Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Wayland, MI is hiring a Douglas Operator for the 1st shift to run the Retail Line #2 case wrapper, the priority one de-palletizer, and the Columbia palletizer. You will support the Production team and help with size changeovers.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to follow processes, maintain production records, and a valid sit-down forklift license. You will keep the work area clean and comply with GMP, HACCP, SOPs, and safety rules while contributing to

As the Douglas Operator at the Wayland location, you will be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and assist with size changeovers. You will also provide support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:* Operator must have the mechanical ability to perform necessary machine adjustments to obtain “Standards” in production.* Operator must have understanding of the quality requirement for the product with the ability to maintain accurate production records.* Must have a valid lift truck license. This person will be required to assist in the operation of the entire line and assist with size changeovers.* Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
