Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Warehouse Person at our Wayland, MI location to support production by operating a sit-down forklift, reviewing production schedules, and maintaining accurate shipping/receiving records. The role requires reading production schedules, clear communication with suppliers and customers, and adherence to GMP and HACCP procedures.

Expect a full-time, 2nd shift (4pm–12am) with shift differential and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have valid lift truck driver’s license.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to read a production schedule and supply components to proper workstations.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Read production schedule and supply components to workstations without interrupting production.
• Record shipping and receiving data for trailers, tankers, rail cars and maintain accurate inventories.
• Communicate by phone with customers, vendors and freight companies as needed.
• Operate switcher truck safely and effectively.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, LOTO and TreeHouse Foods food safety programs; perform other duties as assigned.
