Placements24 is hiring a Production Line Operator for our busy Welkom facility to operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring smooth line performance in accordance with SOPs.

We seek detail-oriented, reliable individuals with good manual dexterity and a strong work ethic who can contribute to a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Line Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
• Awareness of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor product quality and report any defects or deviations to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Accurately record production data, including output, scrap, and downtime.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and troubleshoot minor issues.
