Job summary

Silgan-Closures is seeking a Production Line Operator to join our manufacturing team in Indiana. The role involves testing video inspection equipment, weighing and packing products, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Test and confirm video inspection equipment is operating properly.
• Inspect, weigh and pack products and materials and check and verify packing slips.
• Inspect metal for shearing and coating voids and remove scrap and inferior quality materials.
• Notify proper persons of irregularities in the job.
• Unload floor container as required.
• Approve and disapprove finished product in accordance with quality specifications.
• Follow all Plant food safety procedures.
