Job summary

Silgan White Cap Corp is seeking a quality-focused inspector to ensure video inspection systems operate correctly, weigh and pack products, and verify packing slips. The role requires adherence to quality specifications and plant safety procedures, with responsibility to notify supervisors of any irregularities and handle unloading as needed.

The position emphasizes a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with opportunities for overtime, on-site work, and advancement within a global packaging

Qualifications

• Inspect, weight and pack products and materials and check and verify packing slips.
• Follow all Plant food safety procedures.
• Notify proper persons of irregularities in the job.

Responsibilities

• Test and confirm video inspection equipment is operating properly.
• Inspect metal for shearing and coating voids and remove scrap and inferior quality materials.
• Notify proper persons of irregularities in the job.
• Unload floor container as required.
• Approve and disapprove finished product in accordance with quality specifications.
