Job summary

Max Private Label is seeking a full-time, experienced line mechanic for our Streamwood, IL plant. The role focuses on fixing, setting up, and inspecting production machinery to minimize downtime and sustain productivity.

The ideal candidate has a solid mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Operations Manager, monitoring equipment, and driving efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical experience is a plus for maintaining production lines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Operations Manager to coordinate maintenance and setup in production areas.
• Monitors operation of production equipment and systems.
• Initiates and completes projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Sanitizes equipment before production startup of next product for filling lines.
• Minimizes unplanned downtime and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Maintains plant cleanliness as required.
