Job summary
Nice-pak Products Llc is seeking a maintenance technician to perform setup, routine maintenance, and repairs on liquid fill production line equipment including fillers, cappers, and labelers. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise execution with attention to quality.
Training will cover mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic aspects of the line. The position requires cutting-edge preventive maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work varied shifts including
Qualifications
- Requires ability to read, write, and interpret drawings/schedules.
- Minimum of one year of similar maintenance experience or two years of trade school/Associate Degree in a related mechanical field.
- Knowledge of handling hazardous materials per guidelines and safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust lines for various products.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and perform repairs and adjustments.
- Wash out fillers between products.
- Make adjustments for fillers, cappers, and labelers.
- Inform supervisors of parts and equipment needed for replacement.
- Perform routine daily maintenance such as greasing, oiling, and changing belts.
- Process and store hazardous materials per guidelines.
