Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Production Line Lead in Riverside, CA to drive line efficiency, optimize labor, and maintain safe, compliant operations on the factory floor.

You will provide on-the-floor leadership, coach and coordinate daily production activities, monitor OEE, and ensure adherence to safety policies, GMPs, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of safety requirements, GMPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to train, coach, motivate and develop employees.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate safety, quality, staffing, and production expectations.
• Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, line flow, changeovers, and production priorities.
• Monitor production OEE performance on an hourly basis and manage quality, labor utilization, waste, downtime and scrap goals.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to associates and support employee development.
• Respond to downtime, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate maintenance, quality, and supervision support.
• Complete production documentation, shift reports, labor tracking, and operational records accurately.
• Communicate shift performance, inventory status, and operational concerns during shift handoffs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and company standards.
• Escalate safety, quality, employee relations, and operational concerns as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Line Lead is responsible for driving line efficiency, optimizing labor utilization, maintaining safe and compliant operations, and ensuring production goals are achieved. This position provides on-the-floor leadership, coaching, coordination, and communication to support daily manufacturing operations.

• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to associates while supporting employee development and cross-training.
• Respond to downtime, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate support from maintenance, quality, and supervision.
• Complete production documentation, shift reports, labor tracking, and operational records accurately and timely.
• Communicate shift performance, inventory status, and operational concerns during shift handoffs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and company standards.
• Escalate safety, quality, employee relations, and operational concerns as appropriate.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20/hour in our lowest geographic market up to $35/hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
