Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance across our facility, planning activities by equipment state and predefined frequency (RCM) to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.

You will generate and assign work orders, attend daily production meetings, create SOPs for equipment setup, train staff on safety protocols, coordinate contractors, issue purchase requests, and support audits (GMP, Food Safety, Fire Safety).

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate with operations, maintenance and vendors.
• Familiarity with GMP, Food Safety or safety audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance across the facility by equipment/state.
• Generate and assign work orders to prevent downtime and improve efficiency.
• Attend daily production meetings and report maintenance issues.
• Create SOPs/work instructions for equipment setup to ensure quality.
• Train maintenance personnel on safety practices (BBS, PPE, LOTO).
• Coordinate contractors/vendors for maintenance activities.
• Issue purchasing requests for parts and repairs.
• Collaborate with Operations to plan major equipment overhauls.
• Assist Maintenance Director with audits and address findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Planning and Scheduling of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance throughout the facility according to predetermined frequency or state of the equipment (RCM)

Generating and assigning Work Orders (Preventive, Inspection, Emergency and Corrective) to avoid unplanned equipment downtime and increase efficiency

Attending daily production meetings and reporting on any maintenance/equipment issues.

Creating the Standard Operating procedures/work instructions for equipment set up to achieve uniform quality, reduced changeover duration

Focusing on creating a safe environment to work by training the maintenance personnel on BBS (Behavioral Based safety), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out)

Coordinating and scheduling the contractors/vendors to perform maintenance activities in the facility

Issuing purchasing order request for parts and repairs.

Communicating with the Operations/Scheduling team to figure out the availability of the production lines in order to plan the major equipment overhaul

Assisting the Maintenance Director with the internal and external audits (GMP, Food Safety and Fire Safety) and generating and addressing work orders as per the audit findings

Other duties as assigned.
