Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Personal Care products operation in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will guarantee smooth and efficient manufacturing by monitoring staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

In this fast-paced environment, you will optimize day-to-day activities, manage production numbers with the Production Manager, and enforce SOPs. SAP production knowledge is required; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; a BS in engineering is a plus.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• Experience with SAP in production environments.
• OSHA Safety certification and CPIM/CMS credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture and maintain an injury-free workplace.
• Oversee daily production and monitor throughput against targets.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to manage daily production numbers.
• Ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed and improvements communicated.
• Respond to emergencies and notify management promptly.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and optimize downtime with maintenance.
• Mentor and coach production staff; drive continuous improvement and efficiency.

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Personal Care products operation. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In our fast-paced environment, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Key Responsibility:

• Promote safety-first culture that fosters an injury free workplace.
• Monitor and leads the production
• Work directly with Production manager to manage daily production numbers
• Follow and enforces established safety rules and regulations
• Follow all SOP’s and Work Instructions and communicates improvements and changes as required
• Respond to emergencies and notify management immediately
• Monitors that goods are produced efficiently and to the correct quality standard
• Train/assist production employees on all SOP’s (filling, packing, change over, sanitation etc.)
• Promote, motivate, and provides mentoring and guidance to employees
• Continuously looking for efficiencies and safety improvement(s)
• Follows and enforces GMP guidelines
• Works directly with maintenance to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Excellent communication skills (leads 1st shift tier meeting, communicates daily production targets)
• Must have SAP production knowledge
• Must be available for overtime when required
• Other specific duties as requested by management

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, BS in engineering a plus
• 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

• OSHA Safety certification, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), and Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) a plus
