Job summary

Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced production supervisor to lead seat assembly operations.

You will organize work to meet schedules, monitor daily results, conduct meetings, support 5S and safety, and develop team through training. Must read engineering drawings, adapt to shift needs, and partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of seat assembly or related manufacturing experience.
• Trainer or leadership experience preferred.
• Must read, write and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Ability to independently plan and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to solve problems with little or no guidance.
• Ability to communicate and present to peers and upper management.
• Ability to organize teams to accomplish organizational goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality products are assembled to support customer dock dates.
• Organize and assign work to meet production schedules following standard work.
• Monitor daily production results and submit the daily efficiency report.
• Conduct daily meetings with the production line to review goals and challenges.
• Set up ANDON system to manage line progress and update as needed.
• Provide proper provisioning of the production line (tools, hardware, consumables).
• Communicate issues impacting daily performance to Production Supervisor.
• Cross train on multiple processes to increase knowledge and value to the team.
• Train assemblers in new processes including standard work.
• Investigate line stops and implement emergency and countermeasures.
