Job summary

ProMach Integrated Solutions (PMIS) is seeking a talented Applications Engineer who contributes to the success of the company by driving turnkey proposals for packaging lines. You will work closely with clients and vendors to ensure the quoted products meet technical and commercial goals.

Responsibilities include AutoCAD-based layout design, RFQ analysis, and coordinating with engineering, sales and project teams to deliver complete, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience estimating/technical sales or project management.
• 5+ years' experience leading or designing high complexity packaging or capital equipment integration projects.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex technical documents.
• Strong experience using AutoCAD to design production lines.

Responsibilities

• Review and qualify client RFQ's, drawings and specifications to determine requirements and feasibility of a project.
• Interact with clients to define scope, clarify technical risk and create RFIs for accurate line design.
• Travel to client sites for evaluation and presentation, including measurement for ranges and technical presentation.
• Liaise with management, sales, project management and engineering during design.
• Prepare proposals including detailed layout drawings using AutoCAD and documentation with OEM equipment proposals.
• Design conveyor components with calculations to integrate the packaging line with optimal spacing and flow.
