Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech is seeking a Production Light Operator for our South Bend, IN facility. This full-time role involves light production tasks such as sorting, folding, counting, and packaging laundry items for delivery. The 2nd shift runs 1pm–9:30pm, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include inspecting garments for damage and maintaining safety and quality standards. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

ITU AbsorbTech is a hiring full-timeProduction Light Operator to join our team in South Bend, IN

Our production facilities process industrial laundry: we wash, dry, prepare, and organize floor mats, shop towels, uniforms and Sorbits®, our own absorbent brand line of products. Items that need to be cleaned come to our production facility directly from the customer.

In this role, you will:

• Sort, fold, separate and count received items
• Inspect garments for rips and tears
• Package products to be delivered to customers

* This is a physically demanding position that requires pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs on a repetitive basis.

Pay: $16.16 an hour + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

2nd Shift Hours: 1pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends, no holidays!
