Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team in New Berlin, WI. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining industrial laundry machinery and supporting production equipment.

You will read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform general maintenance duties. This 2nd shift offers a $0.50 differential and an early schedule of 1:30pm–9:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) required.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance or mechanical repair experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment.

In this role, you will

• Repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery
• Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment
• Work from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specification
• Perform general maintenance operations

Driving Requirement

A valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required for this position.

Pay

$32-$33.48 an hour, based on experience + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

2nd Shift Schedule

1:30pm-9:30pm; Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.

Education and Experience

Associate's degree in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 3-5 years' related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and equipment issues, is required.
