Job summary

ITU AbsorbTech in South Bend, IN is seeking a full-time Production Light Operator for the 2nd shift. You will sort, fold, count items, inspect garments for damage, and package products prepared for delivery to customers.

The role is physically demanding, requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and a strong focus on safety. Second shift runs 1pm–9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

ITU AbsorbTech is a hiring full-timeProduction Light Operator to join our team in South Bend, IN

Our production facilities process industrial laundry: we wash, dry, prepare, and organize floor mats, shop towels, uniforms and Sorbits®, our own absorbent brand line of products. Items that need to be cleaned come to our production facility directly from the customer.

In this role, you will:

• Sort, fold, separate and count received items
• Inspect garments for rips and tears
• Package products to be delivered to customers

* This is a physically demanding position that requires pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs on a repetitive basis.

Pay:

$16.16 an hour + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

2nd Shift Hours:

1pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends, no holidays!
