Job summary

Worthington Enterprises in Chilton, Wisconsin is seeking a Production Leader to guide and support our manufacturing teams on 2nd or 3rd shift. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement to impact daily operations. On-site work is required.

You will lead daily production activities, train and schedule team members, conduct pre-shift meetings, troubleshoot challenges, ensure accurate reporting, and participate in Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organization.
• Hands-on with machinery and inspection tools.
• Forklift certification or able to obtain.
• Knowledge of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout.
• Team-focused leader who leads by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Support the training, development, and scheduling of team members.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings and assign work in the supervisor’s absence.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and drive effective solutions.
• Ensure accurate production reporting and efficient use of resources.
• Act as a first responder during plant emergencies.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
