Job summary

Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping. You will champion quality, safety, and efficiency to ensure products move smoothly through the warehouse and meet USDA/QA standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 2nd shift hours, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, 401(k), and life insurance. Salary ranges from $68,000 to $102,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with focus on associate development.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (i.e. SAP) and MS Office suite.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–3 years manufacturing supervision helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and quality.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Optimize labor, raw materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations.
• Maintain production records and provide updates to management.
• Enforce safety compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
