Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly associates across receiving, order processing, production and shipping. You will champion safety, quality, and compliance while driving productivity and engagement on the floor.

In this role you will uphold USDA, QA and facility standards, coordinate with maintenance, and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and costs. A strong leader with 2–3 years in manufacturing and 1+ year in supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules, output goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Optimize labor, materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations.
• Maintain accurate production records including output, quality metrics and attendance.
• Provide regular updates to management on production status and opportunities for improvement.
• Act as liaison between production and other departments (engineering, QA, supply chain).
