Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. seeks a production supervisor for our Albuquerque facility. You will direct daily operations, coach team members, schedule work, monitor milk receiving and processing steps, and ensure GMP, safety and quality standards are met.

Leadership experience and a focus on meeting production goals are required. This full-time role involves collaboration with maintenance and HR, driving efficiency while ensuring accurate order fulfillment and ongoing personnel development.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and/or beverage manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude, team lead experience, or supervisory experience.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees. Ensure that the production process flows smoothly and daily production goals are met.
• Monitor operations activities (milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, freezing, cooling, filling, mixing, packaging, storing) to meet standards.
• Oversee equipment usage and sanitation; arrange timely repair/resolution of failures.
• Promote safe work behaviors and conduct safety investigations; report injuries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations; administer related programs.
• Supervise production scheduling to fill orders and meet demand; stage materials for next runs.
• Identify efficiency improvements and cost containment opportunities.
• Communicate with employees via shift meetings; administer discipline as needed and address grievances with HR/management.
• Conduct promotions, transfers, timekeeping reviews, performance evaluations; mentor and train staff.
• Maintain safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.
