Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Production Lead to assist the Supervisor in directing allocated manufacturing activities at the Santa Ana site. As a working Lead, you will instruct, direct, and inform employees on tasks while continuing to perform your regular duties.

You will monitor work in progress, train colleagues, uphold safety policies, and ensure production flow stays on schedule. Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a production environment.
• Strong organization, detail-oriented with follow-through.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and team.
• Basic ability to interpret charts and graphs.
• Proven leadership in manufacturing/production settings.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and direct work activities of employees in assigned areas.
• Keep close track of work in progress and communicate with team and managers.
• Assist in training and coordinate with Supervisor to direct activities.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and safety rules; ensure compliance.
• Support audits and report any equipment or safety issues as required.
• Ensure production flow remains on schedule and KPI goals are met.
